We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the beach and other places we have stayed in before in Zanzibar for twice the cost. The hotel facilities were great, with a nice garden courtyard and large, clean rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The staff were really attentive and helpful, and provided us with a delicious breakfast every morning. We also appreciated the easy transportation from this hotel, with a nearby parking lot and options for organized trips.
Everything great.

I recently had a great stay at a cozy place in Zanzibar. The hotel offers good value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location, set back from the beach in a local village, provides a unique and authentic experience. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the basic amenities in the rooms, including a private bathroom, were all that I needed. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious and a great start to the day.
All was well with this hotel, no improvements needed.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was tasty. The location was convenient, being just a short walk from the beach and close to the main street. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The wifi was spotty at best, and often didn't work at all. There were no signs pointing to the hotel and it was difficult to find, even with help from locals.

Stayed for Christmas and although the location was a bit of a hassle to find, the staff was very helpful in guiding me. the room was clean and spacious with a functioning fan and mosquito net. I enjoyed the short 4-minute walk to the beach and loved the fact that there were little shops around to buy snacks. the surroundings of the African village made it feel safe and added to the charm.
The advertised "free bike use" was not available and the staff did not seem to care. the breakfast options were limited, and the wifi was not always working well.

I recently had a great stay at this hotel in a small village on the coast. The value for money was excellent, with affordable prices that didn't break the bank. The staff were incredibly attentive and provided excellent service, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided, including a private bathroom. The location, set back from the beach, allowed for a more authentic experience of the local village life.
All was fine, no complaints whatsoever.
